Key features
- Focus, short break and long break modes with individually adjustable durations (1–120 minutes each).
- A long break automatically follows every four completed focus sessions, tracked with glowing session dots.
- Auto-advance toggle flows straight into the next phase after each chime — hands-off operation.
- Three-tone chime synthesized with WebAudio at every phase end (no audio files needed).
- Live countdown in the browser tab title, so you can track focus time from another tab.
- Durations and your completed-session count persist in this browser via localStorage.
How it works
Set your rhythm
Adjust focus, short break and long break minutes in Settings. They're locked while a timer is running.
Start a focus session
Press Start and the ring drains toward zero while the status badge pulses Focusing.
Take the chime's advice
When a phase ends, the chime plays and — with auto-advance on — the next phase starts immediately: a short break, or a long one after every fourth focus session.
Steer when needed
Pause, resume, Skip (which never counts as a completed session) or Reset at any time; the dots show your position in the four-session cycle.
Tips for better results
- Watch the tab title instead of the page — the remaining time follows you to other tabs.
- Prefer manual control? Turn Auto-advance off and start each phase yourself.
- Your session count survives reloads because it's stored locally; clearing site data resets it to zero.
- The classic defaults are 25/5/15 — 50/10 and 90/20 deep-work variants work just as well, and anything from 1 to 120 minutes is allowed.
- Skipped sessions don't earn break credit — only completed focus sessions advance the long-break cycle.
