Key features
- Encodes any text or URL and redraws the code live about a quarter second after you stop typing.
- Pick the foreground and background colors and export a square PNG from 128 up to 1024 pixels.
- Adjust the quiet zone (0–8 blank modules around the code) so scanners have breathing room.
- Choose error correction L, M, Q or H — up to 30% of the code can be damaged and still scan.
- One-click Download PNG names the file dailywebtools-qr-code.png with no watermark or sign-up.
How it works
Enter your content
Type or paste a URL, message, Wi-Fi string or any other text in the Content & Style panel. The preview regenerates automatically.
Dial in size and margin
Slide the size between 128 and 1024 px and set how many empty modules surround the code. Two modules is a safe default.
Style and harden the code
Set foreground and background colors, then pick an error-correction level — M (15%) suits screens, H (30%) survives scuffed posters.
Download the PNG
Check the live preview, then hit Download PNG to save the finished code at the exact size you chose.
Tips for better results
- Keep strong contrast — dark modules on a light background scan far more reliably than the reverse.
- The more data you pack in, the denser the code gets; short URLs produce noticeably easier-to-scan codes.
- Reserve level H for codes that will be printed small, laminated, or partly covered by a logo.
- Never print a code smaller than roughly 2×2 cm for phone cameras; use a larger export size for print.
