Simple tools, done properly.
DailyWebTools is a free collection of 86 utilities that run entirely in your browser. Compress an image, merge a PDF, generate a QR code, check a password — without uploading your files to anyone.
The problem we solve
Most “free online tools” work the same way: you upload your file to a stranger's server, wait in a queue, watch an ad, and then download a result — hoping the file gets deleted later. For anything personal (a scan of your ID, a family photo, a work document), that's an uncomfortable trade.
DailyWebTools takes a different approach. Every tool here is a small program that runs inside your browser tab. Your image, PDF, or text never leaves your device, because all the processing happens locally using standard web technology. When you compress an image, your browser does the compressing. When you record your screen, the recording stays on your machine until you download it.
The result feels different: there's nothing to sign up for, nothing to wait for, and nothing to trust but your own browser.

How we build
Privacy by architecture
Our tools run inside your browser tab using standard web APIs like Canvas, File, and Web Audio. Your files are processed on your own device — they are not uploaded to a server, because there is no server processing to upload to.
Speed you can feel
No accounts, no queues, no upload progress bars. You open a tool, give it your input, and get a result in seconds — the work happens at the speed of your own machine.
Honest tools
Every button does exactly what it says. We don't fake progress, invent usage statistics, or gate features behind sign-ups. If a tool has a limitation — like a browser capability we can't change — we tell you plainly.
Free, and built to stay that way
All 86 tools are free to use, today and in every release. We keep the site lightweight so it works on modest hardware and slow connections, not just flagship devices.
Design philosophy
We think tools should stay out of your way. The workspace comes first — clear controls, honest labels, and a result you can verify before you download it. Explanatory content (how each tool works, its supported formats, and its limits) lives below the tool, not in a maze of pop-ups.
We also believe good tools respect your attention: dark, calm visuals; keyboard shortcuts for power users (press ⌘K anywhere); and mobile layouts designed for thumbs, not just shrunken desktops.
