How it works

   Fill in the app identity

   Name and short_name are required; everything else has sane defaults. start_url accepts both absolute URLs and root-relative paths like /.

   Add your icons

   Choose an image per icon row — dimensions and type are detected from the actual file. Adjust the suggested /icons/… path to wherever you'll host it.

   Validate and download

   Fix anything the red error list names, then copy the JSON or download manifest.webmanifest and reference it from your pages.

Tips for better results

• 💡Ship at least a 192×192 and a 512×512 PNG icon — those two sizes cover Android install prompts and most launchers.
• 💡Keep start_url and scope consistent: a start_url inside your scope ensures the browser offers the full installed-app experience.
• 💡theme_color tints the app window and title bar on Android — match it to your brand rather than defaulting to black.
