Key features
- Seven die types: d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20 and d100, one to twelve dice at a time.
- Modifier from −50 to +50 applied to the total and shown in the spec chip (e.g. 4d6+2).
- Natural 20 and natural 1 on d20s light up as NAT MAX! and NAT 1! — tabletop crit detection built in.
- Full transparency: the formula line shows every die (4 + 3 + 2 − 1 = 8), not just the total.
- Last 10 rolls persist in your browser with spec, total and time — clearable anytime.
- Session stats track roll count, highest total and average; the Space bar rolls from anywhere outside the inputs.
How it works
Build your dice spec
Set the number of dice, the die type, and an optional modifier. The spec chip updates live, e.g. 2d20+0.
Roll
Click the big ROLL button or press Space (outside the input fields).
Read the result
The total lands front and center with the full formula underneath and one tile per die — crits highlighted.
Review your history
The last ten rolls are listed and saved locally for your next visit; session stats tally your highest and average totals.
Tips for better results
- Space is a real shortcut — it's guarded so it never fires while you're typing in an input.
- Rolling with advantage or disadvantage? Set 2d20 and take the higher or lower die by eye; every die is shown, so nothing is hidden.
- Crit highlighting only applies to d20s — a maximum roll on other dice isn't flagged.
- History is stored per browser (newest first, 10 max); Clear history wipes it from storage too.
- Session stats reset on reload, but saved history does not — handy for telling tonight's session apart from last week's.
