   Store keeps files byte-identical and builds instantly — ideal for already-compressed media. Balanced (level 6) suits most mixes. Maximum squeezes hardest and takes longer on big batches.

   Hit Build ZIP. The archive is constructed in memory with fflate, and the result panel reports the original size, the ZIP size and the honest savings percentage.

Tips for better results

• 💡Photos (JPG/PNG/HEIC), videos and existing PDFs are already compressed — expect little to no shrinkage, and occasionally a slightly larger file. The tool tells you when that happens.
• 💡For documents, spreadsheets, text and source code, Balanced or Maximum usually saves real space.
• 💡Drag a folder directly from your file manager — the internal folder structure is preserved inside the archive.
• 💡The archive is assembled in memory, so on a typical laptop keep batches under roughly 500 MB for a smooth experience.
• 💡Password-protected or encrypted ZIPs are not supported — this tool creates standard unencrypted archives and says so up front.
