How it works

   Pick a direction

   Stay on Text → Morse to encode, or flip to Morse → Text to decode a message written in dots, dashes and slashes.

   Enter your input

   Type your message, or paste Morse using '.' and '-' with ' / ' between words.

   Read the translation

   The Signal Output panel shows the converted text immediately, with characters spaced per letter and slashes between words.

   Play it as audio

   Set the WPM slider (15 is a comfortable learning speed) and press Play audio — press Stop any time to cut the beeps.

Tips for better results

• 💡At 5 WPM every dit is 240 ms — great for learning the alphabet; 20+ WPM is the territory of experienced operators.
• 💡When decoding, three spaces between letters' groups also work as a word separator, not just slashes.
• 💡SOS is ... --- ... — the most famous pattern to test playback with.
• 💡Characters without a Morse mapping (like % or #) are skipped silently rather than breaking the message.
