Key features

  • Pen, highlighter and eraser with size and opacity controls, plus eight quick swatches and a custom color picker.
  • Shape tools for lines, arrows, rectangles, ellipses and triangles — drag to draw, with live preview.
  • Text objects you can place anywhere, edit later, move and resize; images can be added and arranged the same way.
  • Select tool with move, resize handles, duplicate, bring-to-front and Delete-key removal for every object.
  • Three board modes — whiteboard, green board and blackboard — that switch instantly without erasing your work.
  • Zoom, pan and fit-to-screen, dot-grid background, undo/redo for everything (including images), and PNG / transparent PNG / JPG / PDF export.

How it works

  1. Pick a tool

Choose pen, highlighter, shapes or text from the toolbar. Every tool has a one-key shortcut (V, P, H, E, L, A, R, O, T) shown in its tooltip.

  2. Draw and place content

Sketch freehand, drag shapes onto the board, click to place text, or add images. Everything lands on the board as an object you can keep editing.

  3. Arrange and refine

Switch to the select tool to move, resize, duplicate or delete anything. Change board mode, colors, brush size or opacity at any point — nothing is destructively flattened.

  4. Save or export the board

Your board auto-saves locally between visits. Export a PNG (with an optional transparent background), a JPG, or a print-ready PDF that includes the board background.

Tips for better results

  • Use the highlighter over text or shapes for genuine marker-style emphasis — it draws translucently on purpose.
  • Switch to the green or black board for chalk-style lessons; ink suggestions flip to light colors for contrast automatically.
  • Zoom in for fine handwriting, then use Fit to frame the whole board before exporting a PDF.
  • Press Ctrl/Cmd+Z and Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+Z to move through history — undo even restores deleted images.
  • For classroom or tutoring sessions, use the fullscreen/presentation toggle to hide everything but the board.
